Access to Punta Negra is convenient, being approximately a 13-minute drive or a 17-minute bike ride from the center of Dénia. Public transportation is available via the L1 bus line, with a stop at Rest. Mena nearby. Additionally, a scenic, paved stone path runs parallel to the beach, offering a tranquil walking experience free from vehicular traffic. ​ 

While the area surrounding the beach is protected to preserve local flora and fauna, visitors are welcome to swim and snorkel. However, it’s advisable to exercise caution due to occasional strong waves caused by departing boats from the nearby port. Amenities at Punta Negra include a nearby parking area, restrooms, and accessible stairways leading into the water. The beach is also equipped with lifeguard services during the summer months, typically from June to September. ​
